  1. Compilations — xplo compiles your spreadsheet on our servers into an optimized binary that runs ~1000x faster than Excel. This involves parsing your formulas, resolving dependencies, generating native code, and applying a wide range of optimization steps. Each upload counts as one compilation.   2. Simulations — Once compiled, simulations run entirely in your browser, or on your computer. There are no per-run costs or rate limits on any plan, even if you change the set of cells you modulate or their distributions. Learn about simulations
  3. Excel functions — xplo supports 493of Excel's 522 built-in functions, covering all deterministic math, logic, text, lookup, date, financial, and statistical functions. All plans get the same function coverage. See full compatibility list
  4. Advanced VBA — VBA macros execute arbitrary code, so this is a security restriction, not a computation or cost limitation. A verified paid account is required to execute VBA code, including custom functions - however xplo can still process workbooks if they contain VBA. See Excel compatibility
  5. API access — Programmatically compile spreadsheets and run simulations from anywhere: your data pipeline, a web app, CI/CD pipelines... anywhere code can run and talk to a network. API documentation
