Workbook analyses — This counts the number of spreadsheets you upload to Xplo for processing, even if you choose to not compile (more on that below). Weekly allowances reset seven days after your first use in a new period, not on a fixed calendar day. Learn how analysis works
Compilations — xplo compiles your spreadsheet on our servers into an optimized binary that runs ~1000x faster than Excel. Unfortunately we have to meter this seperately because it is so expensive - it involves generating native code and applying a wide range of optimization steps, and often consumes many GB of RAM for many minutes, even after robust optimization. For that reason, compilations are limited on all plans. Learn how compilation works
Browser simulations — Once compiled, simulations run entirely in your browser, or on your computer. Those runs cost us nothing, so they are unmetered on every plan, even if you change the set of cells you modulate or their distributions - run millions of simulations for free. Server-side runs— In this serving configuration, you run a compiled workbook on xplo's infrastructure instead of in your browser, which is what happens when you use the API or the hosted runtime. Each request that evaluates your model on our servers counts as one run.
Downloads — Total bytes transferred out per week, across compiled binaries, WebAssembly modules, runtime bundles, and your original spreadsheets. Users rarely hit this metric, but it is here to prevent runaway costs.
Maximum upload size — The largest single spreadsheet you can upload. Reach out if this is prohibitive.
Excel functions — xplo supports 493of Excel's 522 built-in functions, covering all deterministic math, logic, text, lookup, date, financial, and statistical functions. All plans get the same function coverage. See full compatibility list
